Stem Cells made Simple..........Our Products:
About US:Stem cells are valued as a potential source of a range of types of tissue. Many scientists say embryonic stem cells are generally more versatile than adult cells, although they continue to explore the possibilities of adult stem cells. We believe that, due to their close association with developing embryo and volume of cells recoverable, placental and umbilical stems cells are an ideal model system for conducting basic research on cell differentiation and regulation. Although there is little doubt that stem cell transplantation will be a therapy of the future, Gahaga Biosciences seeks to supply researchers with essential materials to focus on the basic mechanisms of stem cell differentiation - how stem cells make the decision to move from their stem cell state into a more committed phenotype. Consulting services:Gahaga scientists provide consulting, subcontract, and training services to companies exploring the use of stem cells in therapeutic applications with improved, proprietary methods for obtaining multipotent stem cells without destroying human embryos. An advantage of Gahaga Biosciences' proprietary method is the extraction of up to five times as many stem cells from a placenta or umbilical cord than has been achieved by most current protocols. Gahaga is also available to consult on quality and process efficiency attributes of Cell Culture facilities, writing SOPs for cGMP compliance and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
